Shelby's school photos

Shelby's spring photos came in from school yesterday. And because I am too cheap (LOL) to order them, I've scanned what they gave me. I'm hoping to get the kids out soon to get some photos done. Bluebonnets are starting to sprout up.

PCB Spring Break 2011

We returned from Panama City Beach this weekend and had a fabbbbbbulous time with our friends Courtney, David and Skylar! The kids all got along great (and of course us adults too, LOL). In a few years we may need to seperate Skylar and Tucker. ;-) The condo was perfect for all of us to share and have our own space. The view was Ahhhhh-mazing! We shockingly didn't run into many college kids at all for it being one of the #1 college spring break destinations. Granted, we did stay away from that part of the beach and hung out at our family resort side of the beach.

Sunday - we arrived, unpacked, checked out the beach, and ordered pizza.

Monday - we hit the beach, pools and splash pad water park. The pools were heated but the waterpark wasn't. The beach water was freezing but tolerable on the toes. We went out to dinner to Dirty Dicks Crab House. Good but too pricey.

Tuesday - we hit the beach again, went to pier park and went out to dinner to some german place. Good and cheap! :-)

Wednesday - we rented a pontoon boat for the entire day and went boating to a secluded island and lounged on the beach there. We went out to dinner that evening to some mexican food restaurant where we discovered that ordering a corona with salt and lime is weird to the waiter.

Thursday - we went out on the pirate ship and did the beach. By then we were dead tired, had to pack to go home and ordered in pizza again.

Friday - we sadly left the beautiful beach and headed home. A very LOOONNNNGGGG drive on the way back.

Vegging in the beach

Yesterday we rented a boat for the day and made a stop at shell island. Today we are going on the pirate ship. It's going to be hard to leave tomorrow. We are having the best time!

Florida

We made it. It's fabulous! Not crowded at all where we are at. Feels like we have the beach to ourselves!!!

Goin' for a boat ride....

Mimi and Poppy took Tucker out for a boat ride over the weekend. I'm not sure what Tucker's favorite part was, going fast in the boat, or seeing railroad tracks over the water. He keeps asking me if we can get a boat now. I just hope he doesn't ask Lonnie b/c Lonnie will be at the boat store in 2 seconds flat buying a boat.

OMGosh!!!

Ahhhhh, to be college aged again! LOL These photos just posted on a site that I frequent for PCB info, which we are driving into in 2 days. Sorta like driving straight into a hurricane! Hahahaha, oh well. Our 20 something years are far gone. LOL Family vacay here we come!

Pancake Supper 2011

Tuesday night was pancake supper at church. Hosted by the EYC. Hopefully a soon to be growing EYC. Rumor has it that there were twice as many people there this year than in the recent path. YAY! Anyway, after we hauled tail to soccer practice and it getting cancelled within 10 minutes from the rain, we then loaded up and headed to pancake supper. I think Tucker would eat pancakes for supper every night if I let him.

And then this is Kate - but most people call her Frances. She's the other favorite babysitter....and Caroline's sister. They are both big sisters to Shelby's friend Emilie that I post pics of all the time.

Girl Scout Camp

I just booked Shelby for girl scout camp the week of 4th of July. Holy cow she is going to have so much fun!!!

Special Award

2 weeks ago Shelby earned a special star award at school for knowing how to properly stretch her muscles and the importance of it.

Scout Day - 2011

Sunday at church we celebrated Scout Day. Rev. Stacy gave the kids jobs to do like passing out bulletins, be greeters, take up the elements, and say the ending prayer. During the service the kids went up for a special blessing. For our small church, we sure do have a lot of scouts!

I'm still waiting for the day for Tucker to calm down and act appropriate during church. I about lost all of my sanity on Sunday. Thank goodness for my mom!

Rodeo - Selena Gomez 2011

Yesterday Courtney and I took Shelby and Skylar to the rodeo to see Selena Gomez. Nanny has amazing contacts who hooked us up with a limo and a suite at the Reliant. We had a fantabulous time!! Thank you Nanny!

The girls screamed and laughed the entire way. They acted like they were popstars going to their own concert. LOL

Bugz

I'm finally getting around to getting photos and videos off my phone. Shelby had her school program 2 weeks ago and she had a small line. She was soooooo excited.

Shelby's line is "I'm a little honey bee as sweet as I can be."

I have no clue who the guy is talking in the background.

Soccer starts

Soccer started 2 weeks ago for Shelby. Too bad she missed all last week while she had the flu.

100 points!

Looks like I owe Shelby $100! She earned her 100 reading points on Monday.

10 days....

10 days before we leave for vacation. We are sooooooooo ready. Between work stress, and kids with the flu, and everything else, we are R-E-A-D-Y!!!!
