Happy Halloween!!

Halloween was the same and different from years past. Same - Tucker went to about 10 houses and was done after that. He wore some sort of military call of duty concoction instead of the black morph suit we bought specifically to wear for Halloween. Same thing he does every year. Different - Shelby had friends over and they took off on their own and came back 2 hours later. Her costume is suppose to be Mike from Monsters Inc.

Pirate Mimi and Poppy came over dressed in their Halloween attire and passed out candy while Chris and I walked the boys around with Brody's mom. I didn't get a pic of Brody. :-( well, I did but it was a blur. Hopefully I can get his mom to send me her pics. I think this might be Tucker's last year for trick or treating. He's just not into it.

Happy 10th Birthday Tucker!!!

Today Tucker turns double digits 10. I have court this morning so I was up extremely early to make him his favorite for breakfast, bacon and orange rolls. Right now he loves Lego batman and call of duty and anything nerf. He's growing so fast and is only a few inches shorter that me. He's such a sweet little dude. 

Tucker's day

Today Tucker had off from school for teacher inservice day. Mimi and Poppy took him to the moody gardens and had lunch at the rainforest cafe. It was just him. No other siblings to compete with. He said it was the best day ever. :-)

Red ribbon week pajamas

It's red ribbon week at school and today is pajama day. Tucker doesn't have pajamas so he wore Shelby's unicorn pajama onesie. He thinks this is hysterical. Hopefully his classmates have the same since of humor.

First......and last, playoff game.

Today was the first playoff game of the season and the girls lost. :-( It was still a great season and Shelby was awesome!

These girls haven't been together in over 3 years. The Stigsell family made a weekend visit this weekend with us. Can't believe how much these girls have grown. They are all 3 taller than me now!!

Halloween Dance

Tonight was Tucker's school Halloween dance. I was kinda hoping that he would ride with a friend so I didn't have to come. I know, bad mom. But in the end I ended up bringing him, the friend and Brody. It's the last year of this dance at this crazy zoo.

School VB

Volleyball season is almost over at school. Unfortunately at the beginning of the season Shelby managed to dislocate her kneecap and had to sit out 6 weeks, which was half the season. She's not playing her strongest but she still loves it, unless she's having a bad game. I'm thinking once club season starts next month things will change in her game.

EYC kids

18 kids plus a toddler! It was a loud night for EYC last night. These kids are the reason why I became a youth leader. Never a dull moment!

Lonnie sent me these pics and video of Shelby this weekend playing her ukelele on a street corner in downtown Houston. She's been begging to do it and finally had the chance. Lonnie said she was super nervous but she lit up as soon as people started tipping her and asking her questions. (Video is grainy.)
