Girl Scout Spring 2015 Retreat

This past weekend I took my girl scouts to Camp Casa Mare for a little retreat. We spent the weekend learning to cook different things without setting anything on fire and we made over 100 pet toys for the local animal shelter that they are volunteering with. This completed the last bit that we needed to do in order for the girl to earn their bronze award.

Rodeo Houston 2015 - Luke Bryan

We wrapped up spring break by going to the last day of the Houston Rodeo to see Luke Bryan. It was Tucker's first concert and he did fantastic. He loved everything about it except the "crazy screaming ladies".
My friend Christina came with us. :-)

This is just a random pic to show how big Paris is getting. She turns 1 next month! This is on our way to Mimi and Poppy's house. She hasn't quite mastered hanging out the window looking out yet so for now, she sits in the middle and just stares straight.

Spring Break 2015 - Fossil Rim Wildlife Center

After Dinosaur World we drove down the road to Fossil Rim Wildlife Center for the drive thru animal Safari. We drove thru in our own vehicle up and down, around and around, and it was never ending. Finally after 1.5 hour into this safari Mimi saw in our map that it was a 3 hour tour. Poor Tucker was car sick in the back seat. This safari was hysterical. Mimi laughed so hard she cried and I laughed so hard I could barely breath.
This animal slobbered allllll over Mimi.

His horns were way too close to my car for my liking.

That was it for our Spring Break adventure. We met Lonnie in Waco and he took the kids for the rest of their spring break. Our trip was only 3 days long but we packed a bunch in and had a memorable great time. I will pick them up Saturday and then close out spring break with a bang at the Rodeo on Sunday.

Spring Break 2015 - Dinosaur World

On day 3 of our trip we packed it up and headed to Glen Rose, TX where the city is all about dinosaurs. We went to this place called Dinosaur World. It looks like a big souvenir shop from the outside but it's packed with tons of other stuff. There was animaltronic museum, a fossil dig, a gem find, and a 1/2 mile trail that has life size dinosaurs all along it. Tucker was in dino heaven!

(this is his new favorite wolf shirt from the great wolf lodge)

(this is where Tucker put his head in between the posts to look at fish and got stuck)
