Happy birthday to my sweet baby Tucker!!! I'm soooo sad my baby is growing up! I asked him to stay 4 and he told me nope! He was so excited when I showed up at school today with lunch and cupcakes for his class. He was proud to be king for the day.

Scout Retreat 10/22/11
Last Saturday was another girl scout retreat. I've never seen so many mosquitos in my life!!! No matter how much bug spray we put on, we were still attacked. One girl ended up with a tick on her stomach! Eek!!! The girls had a great time though and it got them familiar with the campground for when we go to camporee next month. That's our overnight tent camping trip. And not the tents you see in the pics. I'm talking the tents we bring and put up ourselves. I'm gonna need some lessons before hand so I can look like I know what I'm doing. LOL

Kid City Fall Festival
Saturday was the Kid City Fall Festival at Tucker's school. Lonnie was working ATF task force for days and couldn't take them. So I rolled my sickly, no hearing self out of bed b/c I refused to let my parents babysit me any longer after my passing out incident at the doctor on Thursday. We lasted about an hour. I had planned to take them back after a nap and more pain meds, but fortunately the kids were invited to Chuck E Cheese with some friends so I got the rest of the day off to sleep some more.

Camp in the rain

Spiderman
Tucker decided he wanted to be spiderman and not Captain America for Halloween. I just hope the costume isn't worn out before Halloween actually gets here!

So there's been a lice outbreak at school and it seems like all of Shelby's friends got it. I keep checking her hair 3-4 times a day but see nothing. But she is so paranoid so just in case we are treating her hair now.

TGIF
It has been one heck of a week. Thank God today is Friday. Tucker is still sick. Lee and Theresa and Madeleine arrive tomorrow. He has GOT to be better today. I can't expose them to this flu!!! Lonnie and I are both fighting getting sick. I'm hoping it's just exhaustion. It's a 3 day weekend for me since Monday is Columbus Day. Thanks Columbus! BIG BIG BIG shout out to my mom who is the BEST.MOM.EVER!!! She has been the biggest life saver these past 2 weeks with me out of town 1 week for work, and this week with Tucker being sick. She's been my rock!
