Tori Kelly concert

I took Shelby to see Tori Kelly last night. I really have no idea who she is but Shelby's a fan and it was part of her Christmas gift of concert tickets. We attempted to stay afterwards to try and meet her at her bus but after an hour and it being midnight, I just couldn't swing it anymore since we had to be up in 5 hours to get ready for school and work. She did get to meet the opening band called Third Story.

Spring Break 2016

So this spring break Chris and I took our kids, and Shelby brought her friend Casey, to Gruene for a few days. We had a lot of fun for our first, of many to come, vacations.

Camp Windamere

Took the scouts to camp windamere for some hiking, archery and cast iron skillet cooking. No ticks this time and I only had to use the first aid kit once!!

Never a dull moment at GS meetings!

I'm clearing off photos on my phone and came across these photos from a recent GS meeting where the girls were talk show hosts discussing school problems. These girls had me cracking up all evening long! None of these girls go to school together anymore so there's always so much to talk about!

Spring 2016 volleyball

Shelby's back to playing volleyball at the YMCA for the spring. She's determined to make varsity VB this fall so she's refreshing her skills and will be attending several volleyball camps and clinics this summer. YMCA VB isn't anything like her school VB. It's not near intense but it's good for her to keep working on her skills.
