Summer 2015 is Finally Here
Thank God summer is finally here. I wasn't sure if we were going to make it to the very end. If I haven't told you before, I absolutely hate middle school. I have never been happier to see a school year end.
With some very deep consideration, I've decided to withdrawal Shelby from public school and enroll her in a very small private Catholic school in the fall. I say fall, but really, it's still summer since they start at the beginning of August. Instead of 30+ kids in her class, she will only have about 15 kids. She will still be in band and she will be able to also join the volleyball team. The academic level will be advanced so this is perfect for Shelby. I've been told there are 10 boys and only 5 girls in her class. This school has been around for well over 50 years. I grew up with several kids who went there and they are amazingly wonderful people. I know Shelby is very excited.
