Jammers Win for the season!

Shelby played volleyball at the YMCA this past season yo keep her skills up. Her team had a tournment recently to end their spring season and they came out in first place. YMCA volleyball and school volleyball is far different from each other. I want to yell at the girls from the sidelines to "call the ball" and to "MOVE!!!!" and "what the heck are you doing???!!" but I can't. LOL I have to remember this is the YMCA. Shelby has a VERY busy summer planned with volleyball. Beginning with this week, Shelby has volleyball camp at SFA (woo-hoo!! can't wait to visit SFA again!), Rice University, her school, and another YMCA week. SFA and Rice will be quite intense and she is very much looking forward to it. So far, so good (knock on wood) her foot/ankle has been holding up great!!!

Astros vs Rangers Game

Craming 5 of us into a selfie is not an easy task. LOL

We went to an Astros vs. Rangers game recently and had a great time. I think Tucker's favorite part was the fact that we sat in the bullpen with about 300 Rangers fans.

Tucker's 3rd Grade Musical

Tucker played "camp counselor" in his 3rd grade musical Summer Camp Run-a-muck. He did sooooooo great with all of his lines. I think he had over 10 lines in this production. He is such a ham when it comes to performing and dancing.

Shelby's 6th Grade Awards

Shelby just completed her first full year at True Cross Catholic School. This was by far the best decision I have ever made as a parent to send her to this school. I wish they went through HS but they only go up to 8th grade. Shelby won multiple awards including the All A honor roll (which is a big deal for a kid coming from public school apparently lol), a photography award from a Catholic organization, a citizenship award, and a certificate of completion. I am super proud of her and I'm so grateful that she is super happy with her new school and friends. Big thanks to Mimi, Poppy and Chris for going to her awards while I had to work. :-(

True Cross Band Awards 2016

Last month Shelby's band went to the Gator Fest band contest and won all division 1 titles. This is a fantastic honor to win, especially with the small school that they come from.
