Scout Shirts

Yesterday we got our scouts together and made troop t-shirts with fabric paint. Uhhhh.... Not the best idea. Some girls don't get the concept that less is more. LOL

New Car

Bought myself a new car over the weekend. Yay!!!

Duck Tape

I went upstairs to clean Shelby's room yesterday and found this. And this isn't even every roll she has. She has more downstairs and more at Mimi's house.

Skating Party

Yesterday the kids went to a birthday party at fun sk8. The place is the exact same as it was 30 years ago except the shag carpet was missing. LOL Neither kids are big skaters and this morning Tucker has a baseball size bruise on his butt. Eek!!!

Shelby Serves!

The start of the Season

Today Shelby had her first volleyball game and Tucker's soccer game was rained out. It's Fall Ball time!!!

Volleyball

Shelby started volleyball for the first time on Monday. I think she's going to do really well in the sport. I was worried she would whine about her arms but the second practice was over she told me she loved it. And that was with a head cold to boot! Yay!

Kaper chart

In Girl Scouts we make a new kaper chart every year. This year I decided to make one to include something that all the girls are obsessed with. That would be duck tape and mustaches. So I duck taped this big nacho cheese can and put a bunch of stickers all over it and wrote "I (mustache sticker) you to pick a stick." And the stick has a chore/duty/job for each girl. Then they just clothes pin it to the can for the evening. I thought it turned out super cute and Shelby thinks its awesome. So I'm happy. :-)
