Puppy Paris

Guess who got a new puppy this weekend?? This is puppy Paris and she is 14 week old black lab.

Jellystone Park 2014

This past weekend we went to Jellystone Park in Waller, TX with Mimi, Poppy, Uncle Lee, Aunt Theresa and cousin Madeleine. This was their first trip "camping" since they've come back from Singapore. We feared terrible weather but ended up with perfect weather. We had a blast!!

 

 

 

 

 



Friday Breakfast

We leave for jellystone park today and I haven't packed at all. So I took off hoping to get packed, but it's raining, and I just want to crawl back in bed. LOL

Anyway, Tucker got up and dressed at the crack of dawn with Shelby this morning just so he could have Denny's for breakfast after we dropped her off. Who am I to say no to this cute face???

This is what happens when you do too many things at once. You forget Tucker's lunch. LOL

Bad Day Thursday

I should have known yesterday was going to be a bad day the second Shelby rolled out of bed in a realllllly bad mood. But basically, to sum up the day, Shelby was sent home from school early due to being out of dress code. Her shorts were too short. Thankfully Mimi saved the day for me and picked her up. Fast forward to the evening, the kids and I went to dinner. Due to earlier events,  I banned cell phones and ipad at dinner.  How bad is it when the waitress brings you a drink and says drink up???

Last Minute Apple

9pm Tuesday Shelby tells me she has to have an apple for science experiments at school tomorrow. How in the world can she tell me this at the last minute????? So at 9pm I took her to HEB and I made her go inside in her pajamas to buy a bag of apples.  Mother of the year people!! Mother of the year! Hahahaha

 

I gave her a $20 bill. She came out with apples, candy and a book. Guess she showed me! Ha!

Long time, No see

Totally fell off the blogging bandwagon for a month. Sorry about that!

 

So I finally got Shelby and Tucker back the week before school started. Hard to believe that Shelby grew 2" over the summer and Tucker grew 3.5". Not really sure how to evaluate their summer. It was the first time I've missed 1/2 of it. But they seemed to adjust ok and made a few new friends while in Austin, and that's always a good thing.

School finally started last week. Shelby's 1st class starts at 7:20am. That is entirely WAY TOO EARLY. She seems to LOVE middle school and that is super awesome. She made it into Honors GT. Good for her, more work for me I think. LOL

She wouldn't let me fix her hair or anything. :-(

Baby girl is growing up on me.

Tucker's in GT now and although he was originally excited for school, now he is not. He is a pain EVERY SINGLE MORNING!!!! He doesn't want to go. He's a bear to get out of bed. It is going to be a very long school year with that boy.
